Serves : 2-3 Preparation time : 20 mins Cooking time : 50 mins
Marinate the mutton while using the ingredients listed under marinade for approximately an hour or no less than 30 minutes.
After an hour or so pressure cooker the marinated mutton with 4 glasses of water. Pressure cook for 3 whistles and retain it aside.
Wash and soak the rice for half-hour
Grind the cashews, fennel seed products, cumin, green chili along with garlic into smooth stick and keep it besides.
Now heat Ghee and oil in a wide bottomed pan. Now add the many whole spices into it.
Fry them in low heat until a great aroma comes out of it. After that add the sliced onions with it.
Fry them till it becomes translucent and add 1/2 tbsp of ginger & garlic herb paste. Saute it for 2-3 minutes till the raw smell goes away from.
After that add red chili 1/2 tbsp regarding red chili powder along with coriander powder. Mix everything together and add turmeric powder.
Now add the chopped tomatoes with required salt & fry them for 3-4 minutes. Finally add the mint leaves & coriander results in, mix it all together.
Now add the pressure cooked mutton and combine them well finally add the bottom paste and sauté it for another 5 min in low flame. When the gravy is done transfer it in the rice cooker vessel.
Fry the soaked basmati rice within the same gravy pan for 2 minutes with 2 tbsp regarding ghee. After that transfer the rice from the above step in in order to electric rice cooker pan with this gravy (step 10). Mix everything together sprinkle some coriander results in and close the lid. Once it’s done serve it hot with raitha, mutton curry or all of your favourite side dishes.
